About the event

Japanese chadō or sadō (“way of tea”) or cha-no-yu (“hot-water tea”)  is a time-honored tradition in Japan, rooted in the principles of Zen Buddhism and founded upon the reverence of the beautiful in the daily routine of life. Originating in China, it was adopted by Japanese monks around 1333 and is still practiced in tea houses and monasteries throughout the world.

Join us as we enjoy the peace and introspection of a meditative tea ceremony. This silent meditation invites self-reflection and deep relaxation while enjoying lovely, warm tea and a creating a renewed sense of peace and purpose.

There will be time for Journaling and sharing after the ceremony.

$10 suggested love offering although no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Please contact Paulette Rieger at (269) 569-2337 to RSVP. There is a maximum of 10 participants per session.
