A Love Letter to Our Next Rector
We know that the Holy Spirit is already at work, preparing the way for our paths to cross, and we trust that the time for this meeting is in God’s hands. We also know that you look forward to the appointed day and time as much as we do!

While we wait, let us tell you about three questions that continue to guide us at the Church of the Epiphany:

-
What would the Church be like if we actually lived in a way that is consistent with what we say we believe—that, as followers of Jesus, we are all participants in God’s eternal, reconciling work?
-
What would it be like to be a community of Christians who believed that God is actively up to good things in our neighborhood and in the world? And to trust that we, as a community, are being called to participate in that good work?
-
And what would it be like to be a church community that is convinced that God longs to bring about a new future for our parish that is inextricably linked to the good future of our neighbors?

Our story is a story of a community that was nearly choked to death by fear and exclusion, but rose again and continues to flourish as a community of radical belonging.
If you are drawn by the prospect of leading a community of people who are living their Baptismal promises, then you will love Epiphany.
We are seeking a strong, relational leader who will be able to partner with lay leadership in ways that can kindle and direct the gifts and energies of a people who are ripe for new experiences.

If you are interested in leading this kind of community, we invite you to learn more. As you discern where you are called to serve next, know that we will be praying for you, and we would be grateful for your prayers as well.

Peace and blessings to you on your journey,
